Dublin coffee shops are banding together to do an alternative to 12 Pubs
NOT A FAN of 12 Pubs? Coffee more your thing? Well, if you live in Dublin, you’re in luck – the city’s independent coffee shops are banding together to offer a Christmas treat for coffee lovers.
From now until Christmas Eve, 12 coffee shops around the city will be offering special daily deals, in a coffee-themed alternative to 12 Pubs.

The 12 Coffee Shops of Christmas is the brainchild of Johnny Northcutt, a college student and self-confessed “huge fan of coffee”.
He told DailyEdge.ie:
“What better time to celebrate this fact than during the busiest shopping season of the year, when people might be looking for somewhere new to warm up and rest their feet?” he added.

Cafés like Clement & Pekoe on South William Street/Essex Street and Roasted Brown in Temple Bar are already in on the act – every day this week, Roasted Brown are offering a free coffee for two with any purchase from their retail stand.
You can keep track of the deals on the 12 Coffee Shops Facebook page, or with the Twitter hashtag #12coffeeshopsofchristmas.
